of Minutes from NAST-Nepal.
This
is to inform you that NAST-Nepal has been actively taking necessary action for
the enhancement in the Flight Safety.
Present status and minutes of NAST in different dates since October to December 2007 is as follows :
1. All
the sub-committees have completed their prescribed job, and recommendation was
already implemented as follows :
a)
The Training Course for
single pilot operation in high altitude was submitted and the training will be
conduct in future accordingly.
b)
In AFIS station, for the
operation of special VFR, GPS Base procedure design to implement for the safe
operation.
c)
In fixed wing operation
12 flat landing in one day is already implement & is amended in FOR.
2. On
November 15, 2007 NAST–Nepal is organized in the presence of RACSE Mr. Punya
Raj Shakya. He gave the following suggestion to NAST-Nepal.
a)
To follow SARAST
Recommendation in Flight Safety & ATM Field.
b)
TIA should be certified
and amend within 2010 and inform to ICAO accordingly.
c)
Advise to take necessary
suggestion about updates requirement on helicopter operation with RAWE Mr.
Pawan Kumar in his visit in

Should include member in
NAST-Nepal from Airport Operation and Facility Division and Rotor wing.
According his suggestion, already been included concerned members.

Amended VOR/DME procedure

Capt. Ravi Kansakar,
Chief of Flight Operation Division has briefed about the safety implementation
which was discussed in 8th SARAST Meeting to all Air Operators and
also distributed SIP for the implementation.
5.
RFOE Capt. S.M.
Rahmatullah was conducted Sub-SARAST meeting to all the airline operators on 19th
December, 2007 at Aviation Safety Department, CAA Nepal.
